Today I want to recognize and celebrate Andrea Patterson, Actor, Entrepreneur, Teaching Artist,  and Mom of three amazing young daughters!

On this last day of Black History Month we highlight and extend the conversation of Black History to living Her-story!

Patterson won an Obie award in late February of last year. This was a huge accomplishment as Patterson was recognized for her performances in three plays produced in New York City.

The 2023 Obie Award for Sustained Achievement in Performance goes to Patterson for These performances included: Confederates at The Signature Theater (2022); Seize the King at The Classical Theater of Harlem (2022); and Cullud Wattah at The Public Theater (2021).
