As we continue through Volcano Awareness Month, here’s another engaging STEAM activity to spark curiosity in your learners!

Volcanoes are a fascinating and often under-taught subject, and this activity introduces ten notable volcanoes from around the world. Start by having students read the brief descriptions below to build their background knowledge.

Then, using the packet below, ask them to match each volcano to a clue paired with its image. You can easily check the children’s work using the Answer Key.
