This Month™ Storm Simulator Instant Lesson pairs a free, browser-based hurricane simulator with grade-banded instruction for K–5 classrooms. Students in grades K–1 observe how weather conditions change storm strength; grades 2–3 collect and graph data across multiple scenarios; and grades 4–5 conduct a controlled variable investigation using all five simulator sliders — sea surface temperature, wind shear, atmospheric moisture, coastal terrain, and forward speed — to build a Claim–Evidence–Reasoning paragraph.
