This Read Aloud Series™ roundup from This Month™ reviews three fall and Halloween read alouds for Pre-K through third grade. The Bad Seed Presents: The Good, the Bad, and the Spooky by Jory John and Pete Oswald helps children talk about comparison and competition. Chicka Chicka Tricka Treat by Julien Chung builds letter recognition through rhyme and Halloween costumes. The Leaf Thief by Alice Hemming and Nicola Slater uses humor to show what happens to trees each fall. Each review includes read-aloud tips and grade-banded discussion questions for teachers and homeschool families.
