Build the Dish: Greek Salad is a standards-aligned, interactive math game for K–5 students celebrating Greek Heritage Month. In this hands-on digital activity, students build a traditional Greek Horiatiki salad by solving grade-appropriate math challenges: kindergarten and first graders count ingredients and practice basic addition, second and third graders solve fraction word problems and liquid measurement, and fourth and fifth graders scale a recipe using fraction multiplication. As each ingredient is added, students explore real Greek cultural facts about the history of olive oil, feta cheese, and the Mediterranean diet.
